Bones Whiskey was every woman's ideal man. He was a doctor, so he could heal, but he was also a bad @$$. His protective instincts were off the charts, but he also supported Sarah in her independence. There was not a single thing about him that I didn't find swoon worthy. Sarah had a rough life before she met Bones. She had two young children and another on the way, so she kept expecting Bones to lose interest in her or, as she puts it, for the other shoe to drop What Sarah didn't realize initially was Bones was in it for the long haul. The connection between these two was palpable and the sex was off the charts hot. The story had so much substance and at times I felt myself tearing up as what Sarah went through was revealed. I'm definitely looking forward to getting Sarah's sister's story and hope her brother gets one too. Definitely recommend this book and I now need to go back and read all the others in this series.
