Emery and Dean had chemistry from the beginning and only one of them was fighting it. Emery was afraid of dating a friend because she had it go poorly before and Dean had become one of her best friends. It took a lot of convincing, but once Dean broke down her walls everything fell into place. There were a couple of road blocks, and they had to work through them as a couple. Their story was a good one and I definitely recommend reading it. I actually want to go back and read Des’ story now, but it’s not necessary to enjoy this book.
