His Defiant Princess

His Defiant Princess is the third book in the Royal Holiday series and I think it was a good addition to the series. Breanna Tinsley was strong and stood by her convictions. I loved that she wouldn't represent clients that she believed were guilty, despite how much money she was offered. It showed her morals and determination to put her past behind her. Prince Ronan met Breanna 9 years ago and pretended to be someone else. He broke her heart when he left without a word in the middle of the night, so when he needs Breanna to help rebuild his brother's reputation after a few careless words, he has a fight to get her to say yes. Neither one of them looks at the business relationship as a second chance for them, but it definitely was. This story kept me interested from the beginning and I enjoyed watching the characters interact on all levels. The ending had me laughing out loud and definitely left me with a big smile on my face. I give this book 4.5 stars along with a definite reread rating. Note: I was given a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

Brenna Tinley has decided to move to the Unified Isles of Cornetta, a fairy-tale kingdom just south of France in the Bay of Biscay to escape the recent tragedies in her personal life. The happiest summer she can remember was spent there, in the arms of a handsome, tender rascal who disappeared without a goodbye when Autumn came…

As fate would have it, the Royal House of Vicenza has engaged Brenna Tinley to clear up a public relations mess. It’s the opportunity of a lifetime for this small-town American girl, but there’s only one problem. Her new employer, HRH Prince Ronan, aka her mystery summer lover of long ago, seems determined to pick up where they left off. Can Brenna work in the royal palace and not end up with a brand new broken heart?
