Never Say Love Release day Blitz

never-releaseday

New York Times bestselling authors Carly Phillips and Lauren Hawkeye have a surprise for you today - and that surprise is NEVER SAY LOVE! You can get your hands on sexy playboy Nathan Archer today!

  neversaylove-cover
About NEVER SAY LOVE Bound by a vow with his friends, hotel tycoon Nathan Archer refuses to settle down and tie the knot. His only commitment is to bachelorhood. Granted, that contract was made when he was 15 years old … and in a treehouse. Still, a promise is a promise. And Nate takes his promises seriously. But when cute little Eleanor Marshall walks back into his life, this blast from the past is no longer the timid little girl he used to know. When Ellie decides to soothe her bruised ego with one night of hot sex, Nate decides he’s the only man for the job. He’s wanted Ellie forever and it’s only one night. But Nate is never going to settle down.
Never say never …

I was lucky enough to receive an advanced copy of this book and I devoured it! Nate was sexy and determined to have Ellie, but not fall for her. Well, it was inevitable that they would fall hard. After all, they'd known each other since they were kids. As a fan of Carly Phillips, I knew this book would be nothing short of wonderful but Lauren Hawkeye brought another level to this story that made it fantastic. This writing duo is one that sucks you in and keeps you hooked until the last word.  It gets 5 stars from me and I can't wait for more from this pair and this series.

Get a sneak peek of NEVER SAY LOVE:

She removed her dress from its protective plastic, and laid it out on the bedspread. Bending at the waist, Ellie opened the back zipper of her dress. Strapless, it had a boned corset-like bodice that splayed into a sensual flare of lace and chiffon ending at her knees. Studying it, Ellie felt a tremor run through her at the thought of feeling so ... exposed. Squaring her shoulders, she prepared herself mentally to don the sexy garment. After all, the nearly sheer dress would help her on her mission. One night of steamy, no holds barred sex. “Frigid this, Miles,” she said, reaching out a hand for the dress. A sound at the door had her whirling around, clutching the dress to her scantily clad body. Before she had more than a second to gather her thoughts, the door swung open and she let out a startled shriek. One that was cut off as a male intruder entered the room, a garment bag slung over his arm. At a glance, she pegged him as tall, dark-haired, and gorgeous. He froze in his tracks when he spotted her. “What the hell?” His voice was rough, like the burn of whiskey, and tickled at her memory. Though it had been years, she placed him immediately. Speak of the devil. Last time she’d seen him, he’d had shaggy hair and a bad boy vibe that made the high school girls drop their panties with one look. At least, that’s what the rumors and the girls had claimed. And though he still had the bad boy look to him, now he dressed in a black business suit that fit his mouth-watering body like it had been tailor-made for him, which, from what she knew about his large empire, it probably had. Standing in the doorway, as if her thoughts had conjured him, was Nathan Archer, her childhood crush. A tattooed badass who’d made something of himself with a lucrative chain of trendy boutique hotels. The sexy-as-sin playboy, known for his revolving door of women, stood in her room, exuding sex appeal and looking as perplexed as she felt at the moment. Okay, maybe not quite as perplexed, because he definitely looked her up and down, taking note of the fact that she was almost naked. What was he doing here? She opened her mouth to ask him exactly that—but he beat her to it. “Ellie Marshall? What are you doing here?” Those storm gray eyes swept over her again, and since the dress she was holding up in front of her was so skimpy, there was still plenty of it to see. His eyes heated as they slid over the creamy expanse of her exposed skin. Even with her glasses off and being hopelessly near-sighted, she couldn’t miss the flush that rose to his cheeks. She blinked, processing the fact that Nate Archer had noticed her as a full-blooded woman, looking like he wanted to eat her alive. And she wanted to let him. She always had.

About Lauren Hawkeye

Lauren Hawkeye/ Lauren Jameson never imagined that she’d wind up telling stories for a living… though when she looks back, it’s easy to see that she’s the only one who is surprised. Always “the kid who read all the time”, Lauren made up stories about her favorite characters once she’d finished a book… and once spent an entire year narrating her own life internally. No, really. But where she was just plain odd before publication, now she can at least claim to have an artistic temperament.

Lauren lives in the Rocky Mountains of Alberta, Canada with her husband, toddler, pit bull and idiot cat, though they do not live in an igloo, nor do they drive a dogsled. In her nonexistent spare time Lauren can be found knitting (her husband claims that her snobby yarn collection is exorbitant), reading anything she can get her hands on, or sweating her way through spin class. She loves to hear from her readers!

You're Still The One

You're Still the One - Review & Excerpt Tour banner

You're Still The One by Rachel Harris was a sweet story. Arabella Stone has been in love with Charlie Tucker since she was a braces wearing teen and he became one of her father's artists. Charlie doesn't really become invested until she flirts with him at a party, but doesn't tell him who she is. At that same party Arabella's dad makes a deal with Charlie to sit on the board and donate to the charity he is starting up if Charlie takes care of Arabella for the summer. While not thrilled to do it, Charlie agrees and is surprised to find out his mystery woman is none other than Arabella. Watching Charlie try to resist her was amusing and this story was well written. The only issue I had with it is it glossed over any sex. There doesn't have to be a whole lot of detail, but it went straight from minimal foreplay to after in the story. That bugged me because I like the intimate connection that tends to develop between the characters as they explore each other sexually. Other than that one complaint the story was well written, funny, and engaging. I was hooked from page 1 and didn't want to put it down until I was finished. I give this book a solid 4 stars and do recommend it to romance lovers.

We are so excited to bring you the Review & Excerpt Tour for Rachel Harris’s YOU’RE STILL THE ONE, the first novel in Rachel’s Country Blues Series! YOU’RE STILL THE ONE – a novel published by Entangled Bliss – is out now. Grab your copy today!

Heart fluttering like a hummingbird, Ella picked her way across the stones, the steps still warm from the day’s brutal sun. She lowered herself, one concrete step at a time, until the tepid water lapped against the undersides of her breasts. She gasped at the sensation.
If she’d thought the biker bar felt decadent, this was positively wicked. Never in her wildest dreams had Arabella considered checking skinny-dipping off her list in this way, with neighbors potentially watching, and a naked Charlie Tucker as a wingman.
He tensed as she glided across the pool, the muscles of his back like chiseled marble. She’d love to believe it was because of her, that he longed to touch her as badly as she wanted to be touched. But she knew him well enough to know that even if he did, he’d never act on the desire. Not unless his guard was down.
So, Arabella did what any self-respecting woman in her situation would do. She dipped her hands into the water on either side of her body, gently cupping them so as not to make any sudden waves. She grinned as she bent her knees for leverage…and then, stifling a laugh, swung her hands high and up into the air.
Splash.
Charlie cursed as water rained, falling like a sheet over his head. His neck snapped back, flicking his unruly dark hair out of his eyes, and his shoulders raised to meet his ears.
Immediately, Arabella started backpedaling.
Fans of romantic comedies, and anyone who swam with boys in high school, knew what came next. She’d awoken the sleeping bad-boy giant, or so she hoped, but somehow, even as she kicked away as hard as she could, she couldn’t excite the proper trepidation. She wanted this, wanted him to come after her.
But she had to make the chase look realistic.
“Oh, you think you’re funny, don’t you?” Charlie’s smile was as big and dangerous as a bloodthirsty alligator, and Ella squealed as he took his first looming step. “You better run, sweet girl. It’s on now.”
Arabella kicked her feet, shooting water in his face. “Bring it, Tucker!”
Please, please, bring it, Tucker.

The Heat is On

The Heat is On is the latest book in Katie Rose's The Boys of Summer series. This one follows Connor Jackson and Tracy Coleman. Connor has decided to move back to New Jersey for his final year as a professional baseball player and Tracy unknowingly had a large role in his decision. They were in love in college, but ended up breaking up as Connor's professional career took off. Well, now that Tracy is divorced Connor wants to win her back. What he doesn't know is Tracy has four kids that she is trying to raise with little help from her ex. This book had some seriously real parenting moments and I absolutely loved that. It really showed the struggles of dating as a single parent and the judgement that can be heaped upon that parent. There were some amusing problems that arose and had me laughing out loud, but there were also some heartwarming moments that made my heart melt. This book was a fantastic addition to the Boys of Summer series and I look forward to more from Katie Rose in the future. It gets 5 stars and will be read again.

Amazon
Goodreads

Perfect for readers of Joanna Blake and Sawyer Bennett, hailed as “charming, sexy, and smart” by Lauren Layne, the Boys of Summer series from award-winning author Katie Rose heats up as a homegrown baseball star returns to snag the one that got away.

When veteran catcher Connor Jackson gets traded to the New Jersey Sonics, he welcomes the opportunity to possibly cap his career with a World Series ring in his home state. But there’s another reason Connor is glad things have come full circle. In pursuit of hardball glory, he left behind his college sweetheart, the one girl he could never forget. Seeing her again stirs up long-lost desires . . . and this time, he’s determined not to strike out.

A divorced mother of four, Tracy Coleman no longer aspires to gossip-mag glam—but she’ll make an exception for a date with Connor. Their chemistry is hotter than ever, and being alone with him is more seductive than she anticipated. Who could blame her for leaving out a little detail like the kids? Now all she has to do is come clean and convince the man of her dreams that they—Connor, Tracy, and her children—have a future together.

Hidden in Ink

Hidden Ink - Review & Excerpt Tour banner I really enjoyed Hidden Ink Hailey has been through hell and back, but she was such a strong person. Once I met her, I could see why Sloane was the only man for her, despite him not thinking he was good enough. They both had rough pasts, but it made them so strong. My only complaint about this book was that it wasn't longer. I loved it and give it a solid 5 stars!

Hidden Ink Montgomery Ink Book 4.5 The Montgomery Ink series continues with the long-awaited romance between the café owner next door and the tattoo artist who’s loved her from afar. It’s been years since she first spotted the tattoo artist with a scowl that made her heart skip a beat, but now she’s finally gained the courage to approach him. Only it won’t be about what their future could bring, but how to finish healing the scars from her past. Sloane Gordon lived through the worst kinds of hell yet the temptation next door sends him to another level. Not really. No, she loved math and science and even went on to graduate school in chemistry. Yes, she read as a kid and devoured teen fiction and Harry Potter, but it wasn’t until someone handed her a romance book in her late teens that she realized that there was something out there just for her. His favorite. Behind Maya’s work area sat another station. Sloane Gordon’s. All six-foot-four, two hundred something pounds of muscle covered in ink, his light brown skin accented perfectly by the designs. The man was sex. All sex. Sloane had shaved his head years ago. She was convinced he kept it shaved just to turn her on. He kept his beard trimmed, but that and the bald head apparently jump-started a new kink in her. Who knew? He was a decade older than Hailey, and though he didn’t speak of it, she knew he’d been through war, battle, and heartbreak. And she loved him. Only he didn’t see her. He never took a step toward her. He also looked as if he were ready to growl at her presence most of the time. Much like he did now. “Thought you’d forgotten me,” he said, his voice low and gruff. She shook her head then raised her chin. “No, I have yours here.” After she had handed him his drink and pastry, careful not to brush her fingers along his, she glanced down at his client, who was in the middle of getting his back done. While Sloane looked dangerous and battle worn, this guy looked gentler, but not soft in the slightest. His hair was longer on top and flopped down over his forehead and into his eyes, but the sides had been clipped short. He had a short beard and a smile that looked as if it came easily. His green eyes sparkled, and Hailey could only smile back. “Hello there,” he drawled. Oh, my. A southern accent—just a hint of drawl but not too much. If she hadn’t been in the presence of the one man her body and soul had chosen for her, she might have gone weak in the knees at the sound of it. “Hi,” she said back, well aware that Sloane was staring daggers at her. “What’s your name?” the stranger asked. “I’m Brody.” “Hi, Brody. I’m Hailey. I own Taboo next door.” His smile widened, showing a bit of dimple. “I’ve walked by there a few times, but now I know I need to go inside.” She shook her head on a laugh. “I see. You scent my baked goods and now you’ll come inside.” “It wasn’t your baked goods that made me want to step inside.” What was she doing? Flirting with another man in front of Sloane like this? And why did she care? He wasn’t hers. He never would be. She would never have Sloane Gordon in her life beyond a few curt words and grunts of thanks. She was young, healthy, and alive. She should be able to flirt whenever she wanted.

A Bad Boy for Christmas

Kelly Hunter's A Bad Boy for Christmas is a heart felt, quick read. I loved reading about Mia and Cutter. She was a witty bad ass and he was a sexy, protective alpha male. Watching the initial interactions between the two had me laughing out loud, and watching them fall in love was easy and fun. I really enjoyed watching their story unfold. This story had a twist in that Mia and Cutter met because he was Mia's brother's brother. They tried to deny their chemistry and that made it all the hotter when they gave in. One thing I absolutely loved about Mia was her sexual confidence. She was the one who initiated sex for the first time with Cutter and it was gutsy just like her. This book was one I read in one sitting because it captivated me and held me until the very end. I'm thinking that I'll have to go back and read the stories of Cutter's two married brothers sometime soon. I give this book 4.5 stars and will be reading it again sometime.

How can he protect his family when he no longer knows what family is?

Street-savvy Mia Blake isn’t looking for a place in the family Cutter loves so much. As for the lust that sparks between them, Mia’s more than happy to fan those flames and drive them both a little nuts. She can handle it. Dirty Sexy Saint

Erika Wilde and Carly Phillips are wonderful authors alone and together they are phenomenal. Dirty Sexy Saint sucked me in from the beginning and kept me from getting anything accomplished until I finished the book. I loved Clay and Sam together. Sam is a rich girl who leaves her family when her dad is trying to force her into a marriage of convenience so he can keep his company in the family. She ends up at Clay's bar and when she drunkenly admits she has no where to go and no money to pay for a hotel, Clay takes her to his place to sleep it off. Well, one night turns into more and they start falling for each other. This book combines the writing styles of two authors seamlessly and is filled with both sexy scenes and humor. I give this book 5 stars and can't wait for the rest of the Dirty Sexy series.

Seduction in Session

Seduction in Session by Lexi Blake and Shayla Black was a fast paced read. I love Lexi Blake's books, but this is the first one I've read by Shayla Black. Connor was a sexy alpha male and Lara was more of a hippie. They are not a couple that you'd expect, but they worked well. I loved that Connor felt guilt for lying to Lara and while I didn't like how she found out, he worked hard to get back in her good graces. I did enjoy this book, but it wasn't my favorite by Lexi Blake. I give it 4 stars and want to read more from this series.

My Kind of Wonderful

My Kind of Wonderful is the newest book by the talented Jill Shalvis, and she has given fans another fantastic book. This is the second book in her Cedar Ridge series and follows Bailey Moore and Hudson Kincaid. Bailey survived cancer and is working on living her life to the fullest. She meets Hud when she accidentally ends up on the Diamond ski slope instead of the beginner that she was aiming for. Their connection was instant and filled with humor. I love how this book was able to both make me laugh like a loon and connect with the characters to the point where I truly understood Bailey's desire to live life all out. I can't say enough good things about this story and must give it 5 stars.  Highly recommend to all Shalvis fans, as well as anyone who likes romance.
