Tattered Loyalties

Tattered Loyalties by Carrie Ann Ryan was amazing! My heart went out to Brie and all that she had to face mating as a submissive to the pack's Alpha. Gideon wasn't thrilled with the idea of mating to a submissive, but when forced to choose between that and a mating forced on him by the elder council, he chose Brie. This book was fast paced and sucked me in from the beginning (I read until almost 2am because I couldn't put the story down). Normally I hate cliffhangers, but this book did it right. The cliffhanger wasn't within the love story, but was within a larger story line that I'm sure will travel throughout the series. For those who have read the Midnight Breed series by Lara Adrian, this is a similar cliffhanger to her books.  This is the first book bye Carrie Ann Ryan that I have read dealing with wolves, but it won't be the last. I'm now wanting to go back and read all of the books in the Redwood Pack series because this book is a  spin off from that one. This story gets 5 stars from me along with an absolute recommendation for all paranormal romance readers.
