My thoughts: Cooper was just so Cooper that I couldn’t stop smiling the entire book. It was fun seeing other sides of him that we haven’t seen with him being a secondary character and getting more depth from him. Waverly was a wonderful heroine for him and I loved that both had flaws that were put out there for the other to see. Pippa Grant writes characters that are so real and I love it. This book also has me laughing quite a bit which was fantastic. This is a must read.

She feels like she has to prove herself, even after she's proved herself. I think she suffers from a bit of imposter syndrome and I can definitely relate being in medicine myself. Jake had his own issues and this caused them to want to be together and only see obstacles instead of possibilities. When things got straightened out, I loved the reactions of most of those around them, but there's one character I wish would have had more negative consequences than they got. This story was wonderfully written and hooked me into it quickly. My thoughts: Corey was one determined player. He knew he wanted Ande when they were just a fling, but she didn’t want to continue things. Corey didn’t react the best and it came back to bite him. I’m not a fan of Ande’s sister but I feel she could have a redeeming arc. This book was unique in the subplot I feel. This was another enjoyable book in the hockey hotties series and I can’t wait for the next book to come out!

My thoughts: I adored this book. Piper Rayne did a fantastic job with Imogen and Warren's story. This book is a second chance for these to get things right. Imogen's brother plays into their story and it affects the dynamic within the hockey team. Overall I loved this book and recommend the book and the entire series.

My thoughts: I love this series, and Allie and Fisher's story is no different. Their one night stand resulted in a pregnancy and watching them navigate the complications from that was great. We also got to see the rest of the Greene's, which added to the story. This was a fun read.

My thoughts: I adored Naomi and Donovan's story. They had chemistry right away and I was rooting for them from the beginning. I love how Erin Nicholas wrote their story and definitely recommend it.

My thoughts: Winnie and Pacey's story fits right into Meghan Quinn's writing style. You'll laugh, you'll want to wring their necks, but they do end up with their HEA. I got frustrated with the characters at times, but I've come to expect that when reading a book by this author. Her story captivated me and I needed to see what happened with these two.

“I know you would have done the same for me.” I move my hands slowly across his chest. “Rowan?”

“Hmm?”

“Does this mean . . . we’re starting something?”

“Are you fishing for a date, lass?”

“Wouldn’t hurt you to ask, you know.”

“Okay.”

And I wait . . . and wait . . . and wait.

“Uh, are you going to ask?”

“On my terms, Bonnie. Now just go to sleep.”

“On your terms—what does that even mean?”

“Means I’ll ask when I ask.”

“Well, I can’t wait around forever, you know. I’m fresh meat in a Scottish meat market. I might be asked out tomorrow, and because you never asked me out, I would take that date.”

“Then take it,” he says casually.

I pinch his side, and he barely flinches. “You’re not supposed to say that.”

“I know you wouldn’t take it. You’re too infatuated with me.”

“Oh, now you did it,” I exclaim. “Now I’m going to go ask Lieth out just to spite you.”

He chuckles. “Good luck. I heard he likes to lick necks on first dates.”

“Well, then he’s the perfect man for me.”

My thoughts: This was a fun story that will have you both laughing out loud and crying. Bonnie and Dakota have an amazing friendship and that is what starts their journey. Their individual journeys take them apart in some ways, but their friendship grows and they grow individually. I loved Bonnie's chemistry with Rowan, even when they were "hating" each other. This story shows so much character growth and was truly a pleasure to read.
