My thoughts: Maya and Nolan had chemistry from their first meeting. Their realization of sharing friends put a halt to them taking that chemistry further...for a while. While living together things definitely escalated. Maya's son Sam was a great secondary character for this story and I loved seeing past couples too. Things got complicated and when Nolan screwed up, he really did. Nolan definitely redeemed himself in my eyes and this couple had their HEA. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and definitely recommend it.

My thoughts: Cooper and Caroline have been best friends for years, but it wasn't until one incident that their friendship began to evolve into something more. They are roommates and the oops incident makes them both realize the attraction they have for each other. Watching them navigate from friends to lovers was a great story and I liked seeing the characters we were introduced to in the previous book. This book stands alone, so you don't have to read River and Dean's story to enjoy this one. I read this book quickly because I got sucked into it. I can't wait to see what comes next in this series.

Dean Evans is the worst.
Not only does the devil in disguise steal my pie on a regular basis, he also lives in the apartment right. Next. Door.
I see him all the time. At the mailboxes. In the elevator.
Every single morning.
It's exhausting because he's exhausting.

Now, after setting his apartment on fire, he's my roommate...and he's the worst at that too.

I don't know what possessed me to let him stay with me. Pity, perhaps?
I do know that I won't be falling for his charm.
Or that panty-dropping smirk.
His quick wit.
That body he works so hard for.

Nope. Not falling for any of it...least of all him.

There might be a fine line between love and hate, but I know exactly where I stand.

My thoughts: This book is one I read quickly. Dean was a really good guy, even if he enjoyed tugging on River's pigtails metaphorically. He did some sneaky things that were really sweet. River was a good person too, but a bit uptight at times. When they finally started to fall for each other, it was great seeing how compatible these two were. There were some miscommunications, but nothing that made you upset with the story. I enjoyed this duo and am looking forward to what comes next.
